Indeed this movie has achieved a new low..........
This movie is a indigestable mixture of bad direction, even worse acting and sloppy camera work. Anything that could have gone wrong with a movie has indeed gone horribly wrong.
The story is a hopeless wannabe version of an English flick.Logic goes for a total toss in the entire movie right from the very first scene, which challenges the intellect of the marathi viewer. The scenes are silly and dialogues like "What Saavli" evoke laughter instead of the desired tension. The camera work is daily soap worthy with the standard whoosh whoosh from 4 angles on every actor in the frame. The songs donot fit into the movie and are not even catchy .The lead actors look reluctant and uncomfortable in the love scenes.The 20 mins used in the end to clear the confusion should have been better utilised, being a part of the movie instead of the story telling.
Satish Rajwade looks like poor distant marathi cousin of Abbas-Mastan, though they will be very proud of him.
Among the cast, Amruta is not only loud but overacts so much which makes Rakhi Sawant look like a Star. Ankush doesnt pull off the cool cop look and looks like a lost kid in a park with his Sweater look.Uday Tikekar doesnot suit the role of the playboy although he still puts in a spirited effort. Sandeep Kulkarni is the stand-out performer but at times looks hapless with sub standard co-stars.
The movie has a strong chance at the Razzies.The movie could have been much better even with the same storyline. We give the movie half star.
